Product Specialist

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Specialist to drive sales and expand our presence across Visayas and Mindanao. In this role, you will champion our veterinary software solutions, working directly with veterinary clinics and local government veterinary offices. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with a passion for technology or animal health, ready to travel extensively and build strong client relationships in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Promote and sell our veterinary tech products to clinics, government veterinary offices, and partners throughout Visayas and Mindanao, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinarians and clinic managers. Conduct product demonstrations, attend industry events, and provide ongoing support to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Territory Travel: Cover a broad sales territory based in Cebu, and traveling extensively across Visayas and Mindanao. Plan and execute regular field visits, roadshows, and presentations to maximize outreach in the region.
- Market Feedback: Gather insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings. Communicate feedback to the product and marketing teams to inform strategy and improve our offerings.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the HubSpot Sales CRM. Provide regular updates on the pipeline, forecasts, and regional market conditions to the management team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of successful sales or business development experience, preferably in software, veterinary, or medical sales. A track record of meeting sales goals and building client relationships is essential.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Location & Travel: Willing to be based in Cebu and travel extensively within Visayas and Mindanao. Must be adaptable to frequent field work and overnight trips.
- Drivers License: Must have a valid drivers license. Given the travel requirements, a company car plan is included as part of the compensation package.
- Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong negotiation and closing abilities. Self-driven and able to work independently to manage a large territory.
- Technical/Industry Aptitude: Demonstrated aptitude in technology or animal health is a plus e.g. comfort with software products or a background in veterinary/medical fields. The ability to quickly learn and explain technical concepts will be highly valued.
Location: Cebu-based (covering Visayas and Mindanao regions)
Compensation: Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives and commissions. (Successful candidates have significant earning upside based on sales results.)
